From clearing litter to offering placements to students from nearby universities and schools, we aim to enrich the community around us and improve social ties through construction and design.
The community in which we work and live in is important to us. That’s why we volunteer to litter pick the streets sounding our developments.
We also help to develop the local community through work experience for students. We’ve recently had students from Salford University and the Regeneration Brainery programme through our partnership with Harper Harrison.
At DeTrafford, we are always looking for new ways to give back. We recently took part in the Manchester 10k for Ronald MacDonald House and contributed to the installation of a lift at the charity Re:Dish. Our chosen charity for the next 12 months is Prostate Cancer UK.
We provide free training to all employees to support them with developing their careers. Employees also get the chance to ‘Walk & Talk’ with CEO Gary Jackson to discuss a topic of their choice.
The health and wellbeing of our employees, especially onsite, is important to us. That’s why we are always looking for new and efficient ways to improve their working environment and to make sure they have the support they need during difficult times.
